About Dains

Dains is a multi-office accountancy group headquartered at Chamberlain Square in Birmingham, with regional practices across the Midlands, London and the South East, the North West, Scotland and Ireland, assembled partly through the combination of several established local firms. It acts for owner-managed businesses, private companies, listed corporates, charities and individuals in sectors such as education, agriculture, property, healthcare and recruitment. An international division supports overseas groups investing in the UK, including the creation of UK subsidiaries, registration and compliance, as well as cross-border tax, VAT and customs, transfer pricing and global payroll. For work abroad it draws on membership of the AGN International association of independent firms. No languages other than English are advertised, and fees are not published except in the context of probate.

Core services are accounting and business advisory, statutory audit and assurance, corporate finance, forensic accounting, business recovery and insolvency, payroll and probate. Tax work spans corporate tax, R&D relief, employment taxes, VAT, customs duty, capital gains and personal tax. The international team assists with setting up UK or overseas entities, inbound investment advice, transfer pricing, international audit and global mobility, while the outsourcing line covers accounts, payroll and HR administration.
