View profile of Tax & AdviseDealing with UK tax and company law in a second language is harder than it looks, because the paperwork is in English even when the conversation is not. A small group of firms on Accountanty say they work in Italian, which can help an Italian founder follow what HMRC and Companies House require and what each letter means.
Check what Italian covers. Does the firm answer queries, meetings and written advice in Italian, or only the first call? Is there a person on the team who speaks it, or a partner abroad? Ask whether the firm understands the situation of an Italian company with a UK subsidiary or branch, and whether it can work alongside your accountant in Italy. Confirm the entity types and the licences declared in the profile, and remember that official filings will be in English.
Accountanty lists 4 firms for the United Kingdom that work in Italian, all of them accounting firms: 2 small, 1 medium and 1 large network. All four also work in English, and some add Spanish or Portuguese. They all describe foreign clients among their focus. The accountants for foreign clients page is wider, and the UK country guide covers set-up. You can also use a free quote request and mention your language.

View profile of Forvis MazarsSome firms offer advice and meetings in Italian, while official filings and HMRC correspondence stay in English. Ask the firm what is translated, who does it and whether summaries of each filing come in Italian.
Several of the listed firms offer formation alongside accounting. Check each profile for the services it covers, and look at the company formation page for how to compare providers.
Not necessarily. Language helps communication, but you still need to check the licences, the entity types handled and the experience with companies owned from abroad. Use language as one criterion among others.
