Americans living in France are the core clientele of this Paris tax consultancy, which focuses on US taxation for clients overseas and on how the US and French tax systems interact for individuals, trusts and estates. BPS Tax Services was opened in 2011 by Beth Paul Saunier, a US-qualified lawyer admitted in Pennsylvania and New Jersey who has worked in international tax since 2004, including several years as an international tax adviser with the US Internal Revenue Service in Paris. The firm prepares both US and French returns, including disclosures of foreign accounts and assets, French wealth tax returns and declarations for US trusts. It advises on cross-border compensation, retirement and social security questions, estates and gifts, and on the tax consequences of renouncing US citizenship. It also represents clients in examinations by the US or French tax authorities. Company formation is not part of its offer.
