Rooted in a branch office opened in Eberswalde in 1991, GJP has grown into a partner-led tax practice with two offices in Berlin and one in Brandenburg and a team of more than 35 people under three partners. Its client base combines small and mid-sized companies, property owners and families. For clients living outside Germany, the firm runs a dedicated service for owners of let German property: it checks whether limited or unlimited German tax liability applies, arranges tax registration with the competent tax office where needed, prepares the German income tax return and handles correspondence with the authorities. Work with clients abroad is organised digitally, and the firm offers to work in English. Business clients receive ongoing bookkeeping, payroll, annual financial statements and corporate tax returns, alongside structuring advice on holding and property set-ups, succession and executorship. The firm does not present a company formation service.
