Natgest is an accounting and management firm based in Faro, in the Algarve, set up in January 2001 by two founding partners. Alongside bookkeeping and payroll for local businesses, it has built a specific offer for foreign taxpayers who own assets or run activity in Portugal without living there. Its fiscal representation service lets non-resident individuals and overseas companies appoint the firm to deal with the Portuguese tax authorities on their behalf, including obtaining a tax number, paying annual property tax and filing income declarations.
