About Mara International Consults

Founded in 1995 and based in Arad in western Romania, this firm combines accounting, tax advisory, payroll and labour-law support. It works with small and medium businesses as well as subsidiaries of multinational groups, and its website is available in English, Romanian and Italian. A dedicated international section addresses foreign companies wanting to do business in Romania and local firms planning to go abroad, supported by membership of the AGN International association. Tax services are split between residents and non-residents, the latter including VAT registration for taxable persons established abroad, advice on Romanian income tax for non-residents and questions of fiscal residence.
