Its founder Pierre Botto created the Groupe Pierre Botto in 1988 to provide services and tax support to non-residents, and GPB ACCREDITE now works across France in cooperation with the notaries handling each sale. When a seller lives outside France, or a foreign company sells French real estate or shares in a property-holding company, the firm reviews the file, calculates the taxable capital gain and the applicable allowances or exemptions, prepares and files the capital gains return and handles related filings such as the 3% annual tax return on property held by entities. The teams work in French, English and Russian. Fees are quoted on receipt of the main documents. The firm does not offer company formation or bookkeeping.
