Real estate dominates the Nice list, named by 12 of the 19 firms. Construction comes second with six, then hospitality with four and the liberal professions and retail with three each. Two firms each name healthcare, start-ups, e-commerce, logistics, transport, yachting, private aviation and international trade, and single firms mention hotels and restaurants and wine. A yacht owner or an aviation business can therefore look for a Nice adviser who already names that field.
The structures match that property work. The SCI, a civil company commonly used to own real estate, is named by seven Nice firms, ahead of the SARL, the SAS and holding companies with five each. Two firms handle branches, two the SA and two sole proprietorships. Single firms name the subsidiary, the EURL, the SCM, the SEL, the SCP and a Monaco company, so a client with interests across the border can ask about that.
Every Nice firm offers tax compliance. Company formation is listed by 14, more than accounting at 12, so ask a firm that registers your company whether it also keeps the books afterwards. VAT is offered by 11, payroll and corporate secretarial work by ten each and audit by nine. Three Nice firms help open a bank account and three provide a virtual office, and two support residence permits and visas.
SMEs are named by seven Nice firms. Non-resident property owners, non-residents in general and business founders are named by three each, and Italian clients and business owners by two. Single firms list Italian companies, Italian residents with property in France, cross-border workers between Italy, France and Switzerland, foreign investors, foreign companies opening a French subsidiary and company founders. If you own a flat or a villa in France and live elsewhere, these firms describe your situation directly.
French is offered by 14 Nice firms and English by ten. Italian and Russian follow with five each: Nice holds five of the nine Russian-speaking firms listed in France. Two firms work in Romanian and one in German. The Italian-speaking accountants page covers every French firm that works in Italian.
Two Nice firms state registration with the Ordre des Experts-Comptables for Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, and others name the national order or the national association of statutory auditors. One law firm states admission to the Nice Bar. One firm says it holds a permanent accreditation as fiscal representative from the DGFIP, the French tax administration, which is relevant if a non-resident must appoint a representative for French tax. Five firms give a founding year: the oldest dates from 1972 and the median from 2016, a young list. Four publish prices.
Because the Nice list is made of small practices, ask who handles your file when the principal is away and how quickly tax notices are answered. For a property company, ask how many SCIs the firm already manages for owners abroad. One firm in Cagnes-sur-Mer appears on the France page, which explains the setup steps, and the accountants for foreign clients page lists firms across the country. You can also compare Paris and Lyon, or send one quote request through Accountanty to several firms in Nice.
Nineteen: 15 accounting firms, three law firms and one corporate service provider. Seventeen are small practices, and 15 of the 19 say they focus on clients from abroad.
Seven Nice firms name the SCI among the structures they handle, and three list non-resident property owners as clients. Ask how the firm handles the annual accounts and the owner's French tax returns from abroad.
Five Nice firms work in Russian and five in Italian. That is five of the nine Russian-speaking firms listed in France. Two Nice firms also offer Romanian, alongside French from 14 and English from ten.
Two Nice firms name yachting and two name private aviation among their sectors, alongside logistics and transport with two each. Two also name international trade, so ask for a comparable engagement before you discuss fees.
