About SQUARREL

Run by chartered accountant Hadrien Peschon, SQUARREL is a small practice in Niederfeulen, in the centre of the country, and a member of the Ordre des Experts-Comptables. It assists individuals, the self-employed and small companies, and each file is handled by the founder himself, who also teaches accounting and taxation in higher education. A dedicated international tax page addresses people moving to Luxembourg, preparing to leave or receiving income from several countries: the firm reviews tax residence, the timeline of a move, foreign salaries, pensions, property and investment income and the relevant double tax treaty, with particular experience of Belgian-Luxembourg situations. Personal returns are prepared for residents and non-residents, including joint taxation and tax assimilation. For businesses it organises bookkeeping, prepares annual accounts and VAT returns, and helps entrepreneurs at the start of their activity, including assistance with SARL-S incorporations in which the notary's role is separately identified. Communication and services are offered in French or English.

Personal tax work covers Luxembourg returns (form 100) for residents and non-residents, tax-class and joint-taxation choices, foreign income, rental income and treaty analysis for people arriving in or leaving Luxembourg. Business work covers bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, year-end entries, annual accounts and periodic and annual VAT returns, plus tax simulations and advice. Start-up support includes help with launching an activity and with SARL-S incorporation formalities.
