About AUGEFI

With more than 120 staff across seven sites and over 40 years of practice rooted in the Hérault, AUGEFI combines chartered accounting, statutory audit, payroll and legal work for businesses in all sectors, including a dedicated agricultural team. For people who do not speak French, it runs a division called French Business Advice, where an English-speaking team helps foreign clients set up, run and grow a business in France, invest in furnished rentals and deal with personal tax and administrative matters. Domestic founders are supported from project study and choice of legal and tax status to business plans, financing and the incorporation formalities, followed by bookkeeping, tax and social returns and annual accounts. A specialist unit manages furnished rental activities, from company set-up or registry filing to tax returns and VAT refunds. The firm is led by seven partners.

Services

Ongoing services cover bookkeeping, tax and social declarations, annual accounts, the annual general meeting, payroll and HR, statutory audit, agricultural accounting and furnished rental administration including VAT refunds. The French Business Advice division offers English-language support to foreign entrepreneurs and investors setting up in France.
