Since 1994 LUDWIG & MALDENER has advised companies and individuals in Luxembourg and in an international context, above all Germany, from its office on the market square of Wasserbillig on the German border. With more than 50 staff and five licensed professionals, the firm belongs to the regional LUDWIG CONSULT group of tax advisers, auditors and lawyers in Trier and Wasserbillig, and is an independent alliance member of CLA Global. It specialises in businesses from the Greater Region with cross-border activity, German-Luxembourg commuters and expatriates, preparing income-tax returns in both Luxembourg and Germany and planning cross-border successions and gifts. Corporate clients receive bookkeeping, annual accounts, CSSF and BCL reporting, corporate tax returns, transfer pricing and VAT, and payroll accounts for both countries. Through its sister company LMS Services, active since 2012, the group handles company formation in Luxembourg, from bank account opening and notary coordination to the establishment permit, together with domiciliation and corporate services. Managing director Tobias Maldener is a Steuerberater and expert-comptable.

Services

Accounting includes bookkeeping, annual accounts and investor, CSSF and BCL reporting. Tax work covers corporate returns, direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing, and Luxembourg and German personal returns for commuters and expatriates, plus cross-border inheritance and gift planning. Payroll is run for Luxembourg and German employees, including foreign assignments.
