Two tax advisers with backgrounds in international tax at Deloitte and EY founded TTM TAX to help internationals find their way through the Dutch tax system, and the Amsterdam practice specialises in the taxation of expatriates. Most clients are expats who file Dutch personal income tax returns, including M-forms for migration years, through an online portal or by video call, with fixed-fee packages published on the site. The firm advises employees and employers on eligibility for the 30% ruling, files the application and helps implement it in payroll, and it deals with international wage tax and social security questions such as A1 forms and certificates of coverage. It holds a BECON number from the Dutch tax authority, which allows it to request extensions, provisional assessments and allowances without the client's DigiD. Other services include inheritance and gift tax advice, objection procedures, a correspondence service that translates tax letters and cooperation with US tax specialists for American citizens.
