Bauke van der Meer founded C-Corp B.V. in Amsterdam in 2004 as a family-owned trust and corporate services firm, licensed by the Dutch central bank from 2005 until it returned the licence in 2022 and continued as an independent corporate service provider. The boutique firm describes itself as a bridge between Western Europe and the CIS region, specialising in entrepreneurs from Eastern Europe and Central Asia who want to enter the Dutch market and run Dutch entities, and it stresses its team's familiarity with Eastern European languages and business cultures. Each engagement is led by a C-Corp director, with an account manager handling day-to-day accounting, tax and corporate legal questions. Services range from assisting with the incorporation of BVs, NVs, cooperatives and foundations to domiciliation, directors, bookkeeping, IFRS or Dutch GAAP reporting, tax returns, treasury and bank account maintenance, compliance filings and liquidation with custody of the books.
