View profile of Avega Netherlands B.V.A virtual office gives a Dutch company owned from abroad a business address in the Netherlands without renting a desk. The address can serve as the registered office, receive post from the trade register, the tax authority and the bank, and appear on invoices and the company’s website. Some packages add mail scanning, a meeting room by the hour or a local phone line answered in the company’s name.

View profile of Koeleman InternationalAsk whether the address can be registered as the company’s official address at the trade register, and whether the provider confirms that in writing. Ask how quickly it scans and forwards letters, since Dutch tax and registry deadlines often start from the date on the letter. Find out whether the address is accepted by the banks you plan to use, what happens to post when the contract ends, and whether a meeting room is available when you visit. If the provider also offers other services with the address, ask whether it holds a licence from De Nederlandsche Bank: DNB lists providing an address together with additional activities among the trust services that need one.
Accountanty lists 16 firms that offer a virtual office in the Netherlands: 11 corporate service providers, four accounting firms and one law firm. Ten are small, three medium-sized and three in large networks. Thirteen are in Amsterdam, two in Rotterdam and one in Hoofddorp. The registration steps are explained on the Netherlands guide, and the company records side on corporate secretarial in the Netherlands.
Often it can, but confirm it with the provider in writing before you register the company. Ask whether the address has been accepted by the trade register and by the banks you plan to approach.
Most providers scan letters and send them by e-mail, and forward originals on request. Ask how fast scanning happens, since many official deadlines in the Netherlands run from the date on the letter.
Of the 16 firms on Accountanty that offer a virtual office in the Netherlands, 13 are in Amsterdam, two in Rotterdam and one in Hoofddorp. Eleven of them are corporate service providers.
