Founded in Kraków in 1993 by two accountants who had worked in the tax chamber, Luka is a bookkeeping and tax advisory office that serves everything from small flat-rate sole traders to commercial companies. The team includes an adviser on the national tax adviser list, and the firm supports the Polish accountants' association as an active member. Clients may hand over documents traditionally or online, and a price list based on document volume is published. Alongside full and simplified bookkeeping, payroll and annual personal tax returns, the office runs a start-up service: it prepares a civil partnership agreement, registers the business in the central business register, notifies social insurance and the tax office, selects activity codes and registers the owner for VAT. Limited liability companies are registered through a partner law firm using the online court-register system. The website is Polish only and has no foreign-client section.
