About BTR Group

Lena Johansson founded BTR in Stockholm in 1989 as a small accounting firm; it later added payroll and, from 2012, Employer of Record services for foreign companies hiring in the Nordic region. Today the firm is run under the ownership of Elise Bredenberg and serves mainly international companies expanding into Sweden, Denmark and Finland, alongside local businesses. For newcomers it manages the full set-up of a company in any of the three countries, then provides bookkeeping, invoicing, VAT registration and returns, annual reports and income tax returns, and represents clients before tax agencies and other authorities. Its EOR and PEO services let foreign employers hire staff without a local entity or outsource payroll, HR and employer reporting, and the team helps with visa applications, work permits and housing for relocating employees. The site publishes guides for foreign-owned companies on Swedish accounting rules, payroll and annual report duties.

Employment services include Employer of Record and PEO solutions with payroll, HR administration, benefits and employer reporting. Relocation support includes visa applications, work permits and housing, with optional office set-up and car leasing.
