Former Tax Agency officials, court lawyers and Big Four tax staff make up the team at PRETAX, a Stockholm tax advisory firm with a second office in Malmö that joined the ECOVIS International network in 2026. Work spans Swedish and international corporate tax, VAT, customs and excise duties, transaction tax, transfer pricing, tax disputes, private client matters and crypto-asset taxation. For companies arriving from abroad, the firm registers permanent establishments, branches and limited companies, handles tax and VAT registration, and acts as registered VAT representative, which non-EU businesses need to trade in Sweden. Its compliance team prepares the tax computation in the annual report and the corporate income tax return, files VAT returns with EC sales lists and Intrastat, and reports withholding tax, DAC6, country-by-country and Pillar 2 data.
