Accountants and corporate service providers in Ajman

Ajman is the smallest market among the five UAE cities with a page here, and the honest description of it is a short list of small practices. Seven firms are based in the emirate: four corporate service providers and three accounting firms, all of them small. A founder who expects the depth of choice found in Dubai will not find it, but a founder who wants a modest firm and a personal point of contact can reasonably start here.

The emirate is one of seven, and the Ministry of Economy and Tourism says that setting up a company involves only a few simple steps in all seven emirates. Whichever firm you pick should be able to tell you which authority will license your activity and what it asks for, rather than quoting a procedure from another emirate.

Clients and structures in Ajman

E-commerce is named by three of the seven firms, real estate by two, and a long tail by one each: consulting, software as a service, digital marketing, trading, manufacturing, technology, fintech, insurance, cosmetics and food. That spread is typical of a market with few firms. It says that the sector you work in is probably not the specialism of any one practice, so ask for a similar client rather than assuming.

Six firms handle free zone companies and six handle mainland ones; one also handles a designated zone company. Two firms name SMEs as clients. The others name international founders, remote non-resident owners, individuals relocating to the UAE, foreign companies with UAE branches and corporate groups with holding structures. Two of the seven say they focus on foreign clients.

What Ajman firms cover and how to choose

Six firms offer company formation. All seven do accounting and VAT, six handle tax compliance, five help with bank accounts, four run payroll and help with residence visas, three offer audit and two offer corporate secretarial work. None offers a virtual office. So a firm here can usually carry a small company from registration through its monthly books, but one that needs an audit or a corporate secretary may be referred elsewhere.

English is offered by five firms. French, Hindi and Arabic are each offered by one. Because the sample is small, the language you need may not be covered, and it is worth saying so in the request.

Because there are few firms, check each one’s credentials. One firm states that it is a registered tax agent with the Federal Tax Authority, and you can confirm such claims on the authority’s site.

For the law and the sequence of registration, the UAE guide comes first. If you want more choice, Dubai and Abu Dhabi have far more firms, and Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah sit in between. One request through Accountanty can reach firms in several emirates.

Frequently asked questions

How many firms are based in Ajman?

Seven: four corporate service providers and three accounting firms, all small. Because the choice is limited, you may want to ask firms in Dubai or Sharjah as well, and the quote request can reach several emirates.

Can an Ajman firm set up a mainland or a free zone company?

Six of the seven firms handle free zone companies and six handle mainland ones. Ask the firm to explain which route fits your activity and who signs the documents when the owner is abroad.

Which languages do Ajman firms work in?

English is offered by five firms. French, Hindi and Arabic are each offered by one. If you need another language, say so in the request so firms can reply or decline.

Do firms here handle VAT and audit?

All seven handle VAT and accounting, and three offer audit. If you need an audit signed by a licensed auditor, ask the firm to name the practice that carries it out.

Is it a problem if my company is licensed in Ajman but I live abroad?

Not necessarily. Two of the seven firms focus on foreign clients, and one names remote non-resident owners. Ask how they handle visas, banking and tax filings for an owner who is outside the UAE.
