About CM Partners

Based in Douglas since its formation in 2000, with a heritage reaching back to 1977, this Manx group combines chartered accountancy, audit and fiduciary work under three practising names: CM Partners, CM Associates and CM Trust. Its team of more than thirty people, mostly qualified or training accountants, serves local businesses, multinational companies and individuals with cross-border affairs. A dedicated section describes support for families moving to the island, from tax registration to setting up companies and registering as an employer. Clients are served by a team made up of a director, a manager and an administrator. The group also trains students across the ACA, ACCA and CAT routes and handles aircraft and yacht ownership structures registered on the island or elsewhere. Insolvency, forensic accounting and business valuation work complete the offer.

Services

CM Partners provides bookkeeping, assurance reports, personal and corporate tax advice and compliance, VAT returns including EU trading questions, payroll, start-up support and insolvency appointments. CM Trust forms companies, acts as officer for client entities, arranges bank accounts, VAT and employer registrations, and manages trusts, succession plans and aircraft or yacht ownership. CM Associates carries out audits, including for fiduciary providers and legal practices. Relocation support covers tax registration and practical settling-in help for new arrivals.
