View profile of Alex Picot TrustOwning a Jersey company does not by itself give you the right to live or work on the island. Residence is a separate question, handled through the Government of Jersey, and it covers different people in different ways: an owner who wishes to relocate, a manager the company wants to hire from abroad, or a visitor who comes for business and goes home. The Government also states that businesses from outside Jersey coming to work on the island must have a non-resident business licence.
Ask a firm which of these routes it has handled, whether it works with immigration lawyers, and whether it covers family members. Check whether the profile mentions relocation support such as housing or registration, or only the company side.
Accountanty shows 13 firms with residency or visa support in Jersey: 6 corporate services providers, 6 accounting firms and 1 law firm. Large networks account for 9, with two medium firms and two small ones. Foreign clients are named by every one of the 13, and English is on offer at 11. The industries that appear most are funds (10 firms) and then real estate (9). Start with the Jersey guide for the company side, and see the firms that work with foreign clients.

No. Company ownership and the right to live on the island are separate matters. Ask a firm to explain the routes that fit your case.
The Government of Jersey requires a non-resident business licence for businesses from outside the island that come to work there. A firm can tell you whether your visits fall under it.
Some prepare the company side and work with a lawyer for the application itself. Ask who files and who is responsible for the result.
