Founded on 31 May 2013 and trading under the legal entity Rotterdamsche Belastingconsulent B.V., Robelco Tax Services is a tax advisory practice with its head office in Rotterdam and a second location in Steenwijk. Its work is aimed almost entirely at people who earn their income across borders, in particular seafarers, dredging crews and offshore workers, wherever they live. The firm prepares Dutch personal income tax returns for these clients, including migration-year M-forms and returns for non-resident taxpayers, and advises on working for a foreign employer, emigration, settling in the Netherlands, double tax relief under treaties and social security coordination. It also checks and corrects earlier returns and conducts objection and appeal procedures up to the Dutch Supreme Court and the European Court of Justice. The practice deliberately limits itself to Dutch tax matters and refers clients to partner firms for accounting, financial planning and other needs.

Services

Core work is the Dutch personal income tax return for internationally employed individuals, covering current and earlier years, M-forms for the migration year and returns for non-residents. Advisory work covers relief for income taxed abroad, tax treaties, social security agreements, the expat regime and income averaging. The firm reviews previously filed returns, requests filing extensions and handles objections and appeals against decisions of the Dutch Tax Administration, the SVB and the UWV.
