Since 2015 FIFEC Consultancy has worked from Rotterdam, with a second office in Maastricht, as an English-speaking practice for expats, foreign entrepreneurs, freelancers and international companies doing business in the Netherlands. The firm reports more than 450 client companies from Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Its company formation service is written for non-resident founders: it reviews whether a BV or a branch suits the client, has a partner notary draft the deed and articles in English, allows remote signing by power of attorney, registers the company with the Chamber of Commerce, applies for VAT and corporate tax numbers and supplies a Dutch business address where needed. Foreign companies can also register a Dutch subsidiary or branch through the firm. After set-up the team acts as outsourced finance department with bookkeeping, payroll, VAT and corporate tax returns and annual accounts, and it adds tax planning, legal advice, financial audit and immigration support for highly skilled migrants.
