Based in The Hague, ALLVAT is a specialist practice dealing only with value added tax for national and multinational companies, drawing on some 25 years of experience that includes Big Four and in-house VAT roles. A central part of its offer is aimed at businesses established outside the Netherlands: it registers foreign companies for Dutch VAT, prepares and files their Dutch VAT returns, EU sales listings and Intrastat declarations, reclaims Dutch VAT for foreign businesses and acts as fiscal representative for foreign traders using excise or VAT warehouses and for importers that need an import VAT deferment licence. It also serves as excise fiscal representative for distance sellers of excise products. For international groups it coordinates VAT registrations and returns in other countries through a network of boutique VAT firms, and it advises on supply chains, European distribution centres, shared service centres and system implementations. The director serves on the board of the International VAT Association, and the firm runs VAT training in Dutch and English.
