Established in 2004 as a small partnership in the Benoordenhout district of The Hague, ELB Interim Finance Management + Accountancy is run by two partners: a registered accountant who spent eleven years at a Big Four firm and a registered tax adviser who also speaks Russian. The practice serves freelancers, director-shareholders and SMEs in and around The Hague, and it has a dedicated expat service for the many international residents of the city, covering applications for the 30% ruling, Dutch income tax returns and advice on social security obligations. Its core work is keeping the financial administration, preparing annual accounts, filing VAT, income tax and corporate income tax returns, and running payroll including wage tax filings. Larger SMEs can also hire a part-time business controller. The office is a member of the Dutch professional accountancy body NBA and the Register of Tax Advisers, works with a network of specialists for legal, notarial, pension and immigration questions, and publishes fixed monthly package prices on its English and Dutch site.

Services

Accountancy covers monthly or quarterly bookkeeping, annual accounts with compilation statements and filing with the trade register. Tax services include VAT returns, personal and corporate income tax returns, tax advice and support in tax audits and appeals. Payroll administration includes wage tax filings. Expat services cover 30% ruling applications, Dutch income tax returns and social security questions. Larger SMEs can engage a part-time business controller, with specialist partners for legal, notarial, pension and immigration matters.
