Founded in 1946 by a former tax auditor in a historic han near the Grand Bazaar, this Fatih accounting and advisory office is now run by the third generation of the family that took it over, with three licensed professionals on staff. It keeps statutory books and reports, prepares returns and financial statements, maintains fixed asset records, builds in-house accounting set-ups for small and medium-sized businesses and files payroll and social security declarations. Its advisory menu covers financial analysis, incentives, mergers, demergers and liquidation, internal audit and tax dispute support. Under other services the office carries out the incorporation of companies with Turkish and foreign partners, including registry filings, obtains establishment permits and completes the legal set-up of liaison offices of foreign companies, opens Turkish branches of companies based abroad and compares the risks and advantages of a branch versus a liaison office. It also handles general assemblies, share transfers, capital changes, transfer pricing and thin capitalisation risk reviews and VAT refund reports.
