Founded in 2011 and based in Gothenburg, Wint runs an automated bookkeeping service for Swedish limited companies and reports more than 5,200 clients. The firm combines its own accounting software with a team of in-house accountants who handle the day-to-day bookkeeping, monthly closings, annual accounts and tax and VAT returns, so that owners do not keep their own books. A notable feature for new founders is a ready-made limited company: Wint supplies a pre-registered shelf company with a bank account already connected and the Swedish Tax Agency registrations in place, so the client only signs the agreement and pays in the share capital. The firm can also set up and keep the books of a holding company. Payroll administration, invoicing, receipt handling and ongoing advice are part of a fixed monthly fee. Wint states that it is quality-controlled and authorised by FAR, the Swedish professional body for accountants and auditors, and it also offers a partner programme for other accounting firms.
