Since 2019 Ekonomico has run bookkeeping, payroll and year-end work for small companies from its office at Nya Tingstadsgatan in Gothenburg, and it also serves clients across Sweden digitally. Each client is assigned a named accounting consultant and works in Fortnox on a fixed monthly fee with no lock-in period. Company set-up is a full service line: the firm drafts the articles and founding documents for an aktiebolag, helps open the bank account for share capital, registers the company and its beneficial owner with Bolagsverket and completes F-skatt, VAT and employer registrations, and it also sells ready-made shelf companies. Partnerships and sole proprietorships can be started the same way. The firm states that it follows Rex, the Swedish standard for accounting assignments, carries professional liability insurance, and focuses on sectors with their own permits and controls such as transport, taxi, construction, restaurants and care providers. No dedicated content for foreign clients appears on the site.
