Part of the Rotterdam-based Borrie group of tax advisers, Borrie Expatriate Services is a compact specialist team that supports employers and their staff on international assignments into and out of the Netherlands, with offices in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Its English-language site has a section for foreign companies already active in the Netherlands or planning to open a business or branch there, offering guidance on the most suitable legal form, a Dutch-compliant accounting set-up, payroll and personnel administration, and tax advice and returns. On the expatriate side it plans assignment structures and their cost, applies for work and residence permits, organises relocation and runs payroll, keeping clients informed on topics such as the salary criteria for the 30% ruling and cross-border home working. It also acts on a collegial basis for other Dutch accountancy firms and tax advisers whose clients employ expats. The group is a member of the Alliott Global Alliance.
