About Smit & de Wolf

Founded in 1975 by Ton Smit and Jan de Wolf, this Hague accountancy practice has grown into a mid-sized, family-run firm on the Scheveningseweg that positions itself as an outsourced CFO for established companies. Its partners and a team of more than twenty accountants and advisers deliver financial statements, bookkeeping, payroll, tax returns and legal advice for owner-managed businesses. The firm also runs a dedicated expatriate services team. That team advises foreign-based companies doing business in the Netherlands or planning to open a business or branch here on the Dutch legal and tax framework, supports employers who recruit international staff, and helps foreign individuals with Dutch income tax returns and applications for the 30% ruling.
