View profile of AMS Group OÜOpening a bank account is often the slowest step for an Estonian company with foreign owners, even though everything else can be done online. Banks want to understand who owns and controls the company, what it will do, where the money comes from and why it is in Estonia. A firm that offers bank account assistance prepares that story and the documents, and introduces you to a bank or a payment provider. It cannot promise an account, because the decision is made by the bank.
Ask exactly what the firm does: prepare the business description, collect certified documents, arrange calls, or only make an introduction. Ask which banks and payment institutions it has worked with recently and how long applications took. If a bank refuses, ask what the alternatives are. Treat any promise of a result with care.
Accountanty lists 36 firms in Estonia that offer bank account assistance: 18 corporate services providers, 16 accounting firms and 2 law firms. Sorted by size, the list has 26 small firms, 8 medium firms and 2 large networks. English is offered by 31, Estonian by 21 and Russian by 18, and 34 say they work with foreign clients. Twenty-seven publish pricing. Firms here mostly name e-commerce, startups and crypto as their industries. Read the Estonia guide for the order of registrations, or see company formation.

Identity documents for owners and directors, the company's registration details, a clear description of the activity and expected payments, and proof of source of funds. Ask your firm for its checklist.
Sometimes, for online businesses with simple needs. Banks and payment institutions differ in what they offer, so ask the firm which route suits your activity.
