Accountants for foreign clients in Poland

Not every Polish accountant is used to working with owners who live elsewhere. A firm that is will already have answers to the usual questions: how to receive documents from abroad, how to explain Polish filings in another language, how to deal with a parent company’s reporting calendar. This page lists the firms that say they serve foreign clients.

There are 118 firms: 100 accounting firms, 12 corporate services providers and 6 law firms. Seventy-five are small, 31 medium and 12 large networks. Polish is spoken at 112 of them and English at 99, with Russian (43), Ukrainian (36) and German (24) also common. Client groups named include foreign investors, Russian-speaking and Ukrainian entrepreneurs, German-speaking clients and branches of foreign companies. IT, e-commerce and real estate are the industries most often named.

When you compare profiles, check the language you actually need, whether the firm has worked with the entity type you plan to use, and whether it states its prices. Ask for a short call before you commit and see whether you understand the answers.

If you would rather not compare them one by one, send a single request through Accountanty. For the legal side, read the country guide and the page on company formation in Poland.

Frequently asked questions

What makes an accountant suitable for a foreign client?

Experience of owners abroad, reporting in your language, remote onboarding and a clear explanation of the filings. Check the languages and client groups on the profile, and ask for an example of a report in English.

Do I need a firm in the same city as my company?

Not usually. Documents and meetings can be handled remotely. A local firm helps if you want visits or if the company has premises, so decide whether location matters to you before you compare.

How do I compare the 118 firms?

Start with the languages and entity types you need, then check the services offered and whether prices are published. Shortlist a few and ask each the same questions so that their answers are comparable.
